In 2019, I was a Johns Hopkins Pain Clinic patient. My pain doctor, Doctor Doshi, referred me to Doctor Uma Srikumaran after the discovery of possible shoulder injuries. Doctor Doshi referred me to Doctor Srikumaran for an evaluation of my right shoulder. I found Doctor Srikumaran to be smart, knowledgeable, caring, highly educated, professional, and thorough. Dr. Stikumaran firs one of my rotator cuffs a few years ago. He and his staff did an excellent job. So when it was time to repair my other rotator cuff, there was only one choice for me, Dr. Srikumaran. His surgical skill, listening skills and excellent patient communications brought me great relief and an excellent outcome with my first repair. I would and have recommended to my friends and family.
I appreciate his conservative approach to surgery on my shoulder.
I was in so much pain from Rotary Cuff Tendinitis on my left shoulder; to the point I felt depressed from lack of being able to do anything because of my shoulder. Dr. Srikumaran determined I would benefit from a Cortisone shot. He cleaned the injection area and gently administered the medicine. I immediately felt relief after the injection. Dr. Srikumaran is talented and knowledgeable. He has performed two rotator cuff surgeries on me. I would recommend him to anyone needing this surgery. He explains every aspect of the surgery and aftercare.
Dr. Srikumaran is an amazing surgeon and very kind throughout the entire process. He explains everything very clearly and seems to genuinely care about his patients. I had a torn rotator cuff and repaired the tears and my recovery has been fast and easy. I highly recommend him.
I has Reverse Total Shoulder Replacement the end of October, 2019. In addition to severe pain prior to the surgery, my rotator cuff was torn. Dr S conveyed how the rotator cuff no longer was working post surgery & now my deltoid muscles would be the primary muscles. All the info he provided gave me an opportunity to b a partner & therefore, I felt valued!!
