Office very proficient. Dr. Srikumaran was very attentive to my issues and answered all questions I had.
Dr. Srikumaran is a superb and caring orthopedic surgeon. As a physician myself, I was most impressed by his skill, demeanor and professional credentials. I would highly recommend him for shoulder surgery.
Dr. Uma is a John's Hopkins Treasure. He was the fourth Shoulder surgeon with whom I consulted last year to remediate a combat injury. The ball was shattered, the rotator cuff torn, the cartilage eroded and the tendons and muscles seriously cut and useless. A total shoulder replacement was needed. The first three surgeons I consulted wanted no part in this surgery. Dr. Uma's skill fully repaired my shoulder, healing was swift and no pain at all today ! His back office is also terrific!
I was impressed with his thoughtful, patient approach that informed my decision for surgery. I appreciated receiving his Post-Op Surgical Procedural Notes documenting the various procedures of my surgical repair as well as his detailed Rehab Procdural notes. Both highlight his exceptional communication with his patients and the physical therapist. It is Dr. Srikumaran's professionalism, expertise, and focus on instructive care that inspired my confidence!!
Dr. Uma is amazing! When my shoulder pain and immobility began to increase, he started with a conservative approach, which I appreciated. However, as I saw no improvement, he listened carefully and gave me the alternative I chose, which was surgery. Four months later, my shoulder has full mobility, and I'm swimming and jogging again pain free. Dr. Uma's wealth of experience and trustworthiness are to be commended; I would recommend him to anyone experiencing shoulder problems.
I feel so blessed that Dr. UMA performed my surgery. He is an excellent surgeon and I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Srikumaran has been one of the best things that has happened to me. I had been experiencing pain in my shoulder for years and had seen other doctors. I finally made the decision that this was not any quality if life. Made the call to Johns Hopkins and discovered Dr. Srikumaran. I had a total shoulder replacement and have not experienced pain since, even as I left the hospital. His expertise and bedside manner has me going back to work in two months. I sing his praises. Phenomenal!!
Highly recommend Dr Uma. Everyone from Dr Uma to his staff were wonderful to work with.
