Dr. Uma is an amazing surgeon. He has operated on both of my shoulders....repairing one and replacing the other. Due to underlying health issues it was necessary to use a reverse joint in my situation. I couldn't have been in better hands! I am now finishing my PT and have surpassed all expectations and goals. Thank you Dr Uma, Matt, Mark, Stacy, Natasha and the incredible nurses at Howard County General Hospital!! You are the best!
Dr. Srikumaran did a reverse shoulder replacement on me. He explained my options, the reasons behind them and the procedure itself very clearly and completely. When I made my decision to have the procedure done I had complete confidence in him and his team. The result has been nothing short of fantastic. I highly recommend him. Five stars across the board.
I was referred to Dr. Srikumaran due to major shoulder pain and continuous dislocation of my left shoulder. I've seen many doctors before him and I must say, he is the first doctor in years, that is patient, understanding, caring and compassionate, about people in need of help. He took the time to explain everything from A-Z and allowed me time to ask questions without rushing me because he had other patients to see.
I was evaluated by another surgeon and told the injury to my shoulder was too great to consider repair. Follow up with Dr Srikumaran received a different opinion and I subsequently have a pain free fully functional arm. I went from excruiting pain with little hope of anything close to normal functions to immediate reduction in pain after the total reverse shoulder replacement and with continued physical therapy I will have complete ability to function. My age is 75. The man is genius!

Awesome!!! Dr. Srikumaran was very knowledgeable regarding my injury. A conservative approach initially and listened to my opinion and needs before surgery to repair my injury was pursued. The surgery was without complication and his post instructions to my physical therapists was very detailed. Great outcome!
