Nice doctor but stay away. Her practice just instituted a new admin fee, charging all (new and old) patients $120/year just to be a patient. This is not covered by insurance, meaning they want to double dip - expecting patients to pay more alongside insurance. There are many other doctors in the region who don't charge a fee. I had been a patient for 3 years. I'm relatively healthy and usually only come for the annual physical. Her office charges a "service charge" of $120 annually. What does that get you, exactly? Absolutely nothing! It's a charge you have just for the pleasure of having her as your doctor. So, I recently went in for an annual physical that is 100% covered under my medical plan, as is with all plans. Next thing I know, I'm told that I owe $51. Dr. Hoang has such a kind and warm presence — I can truly tell she cares about me. She’s thorough, attentive, and always takes the time to listen and share thoughtful advice. She feels authentic and genuine, which is rare to find these days. Most importantly, I never feel like just a number here — I feel heard and cared for. She’s the best doctor I’ve had in the DC area. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Hoang has provided healthcare to my family for several years and was good enough as a physician that we felt no need to look elsewhere though there was always the sense that she saw us as sources of profit rather than patients in need of her capable care. Today, she confirmed this when we received an email stating that she would be implementing a yearly fee to remain under the care of her practice.
