She is a knowledgeable doctor with NO sympathy on the patient. I think she sees too many children with all kinds of mental disorder, and become absolutely NO feeling for them. She works like a machine !! I WON'T recommend any parents to their precious one to her. She is useless!!!!!
Managed some really difficult matters with knowledge and tact
We feel extremely lucky to have met Dr Golden, and to have her treat our son. Of all the interactions we've had with various doctors, Dr Golden has been the most informative and helpful. Her insight into childhood anxiety is impressive. She has provided us with useful coping strategies and resources. She has helped us understand exactly what is going on with our son. We highly recommend her.
Dr. Golden was very welcoming and helpful to our family. She was very knowledgeable with respect to anxiety disorders in children. The cognitive behavioural tools and other relaxation strategies she taught us have been very beneficial for our daughter.
Lacked empathy. Monumentally rude staff. Practically trade marks over medicating children.
My daughter has seen many Psychiatrists and Psychologists for her anxiety and behavioural problems. Until she met Dr. Golden, she refused to speak to any of them. Dr. Golden seemed to know exactly how to help her feel comfortable. Now my daughter actually looks forward to her appointments. Dr. Golden has also been amazing with writing letters to the school and other agencies to support my daughter. This help has made an enormous difference in my daughter's life.
Dr. Golden's kindness and patience have been instrumental in helping our daughter to overcome her anxiety and behavioral problems. Dr. Golden has been extremely helpful to us as parents by giving us the understanding and tools to help our daughter.
She is knowledgeable, logical and clinical but on an emotional level came across as childish and lacking in empathy. This doesn't mean she cannot be helpful particularly with more clinical, straightforward, less layered/ complex issues.
Not only has Dr Golden has been a key element in understanding our son's issues, but she was also instrumental in finding solutions that fit his needs. I would strongly recommend her to anyone whose children are in need of help.
