A good friend of mine recommeded us Dr. Golden. It didn't work out for us (our child finds her too cold), so we went back to the previous doctor we were seeing.
Thank you Dr Golden for patiently listening to our concerns regarding our daughter' s behaviour. As parents you empowered us with child centered strategies so we could feel more confident in supporting our child. Dr. Golden is a wonderful Doctor. We really appreciate her patience, kind heart, sense of humour and knowledge. Dr. Golden has been a lifesaver. We have been struggling with our child’s anxiety and behavioural problems for several years. We met Dr. Golden after many trips to psychiatrists, psychologists and various counsellors. Our child instantly connected with Dr. Golden and felt that this was the first doctor or counsellor with whom our child has felt comfortable. The child is the client. The parents are important, but the child is the client. My kids love her and she has shown HUGE results with both my son and daughter in a short period. I am so fortunate to have found her. Yes, I know the tragic story of her marriage... but it was NOT HER. Don't take an opportunity away from your kids because of something she didn't do. That's just my opinion. I was apprehensive at first, but wow is she ever good at what she does.
Dr Golden has worked with my daughter for 6 years and counting . She has been supportive to both my daughter and I in many complex issues. My daughters emotional and cognitive health has grown exponentially over the years working with this doctor , although there is still room for growth . I would definitely recommend Dr Golden to anyone needing professional psychiatric help with their child
She can be rude, short and non-supportive towards the parents.
Over many years she has proven extremely helpful and knows how to work with difficult and complex situations
Dr. Golden is a wonderful doctor who has mad an amazing difference in our son's life. She has guided our family with kindness and patience, teaching us to understand and manage our son's ADHD and OCD. In our case, our son was able to use cognitive behavioural therapy without medication for his anxiety. Dr. Golden was very knowledgeable about these disorders and also able to his get much needed supports at our son's school. We feel so blessed to have met Dr. Golden and to continue to work with her.
