I had a great experience. Dr. Unger was very attentive in our discussion concerning my upcoming hernia surgery and his office staff was also first class.
Dr Unger did a terrific job in dealing with my Hernia Surgery! What was a routine procedure turned out to be much more evasive after Dr. Unger opened me up to find that my intestine was rapped around the break. His ability to deal with this untimely incident is why l (and family members in the past) chose him for the surgery.
Excellent surgeon. Pleasant service from him and his staff. It was my first ever surgery and I was blessed to be under his care.
I went to see Dr. Unger for a surgical procedure and was beyond impressed not only by his ability but also by how he runs his office. Perfectly! And most important of all was his level of care. 2 days after my surgery I was feeling unwell. Without knowing whether it was even related to my surgery, Dr. Unger insisted--even as it was evening time, hat he would meet me at the emergency room to be sure I was properly cared for. BRAVO!
Dr. Unger performed my surgery and I went right to him for something else he is in the process of diagnosing. He is one of the most knowledgeable surgeons at Mt Sinai. He is not an alarmest, he is very calm, he listens and is very thorough. They broke the mold with Dr. Unger! He's one of the "old school" doctors who doesn't rush you and gets things done right away! I appreciate the office staff as they are so efficient and fast! They have all been there a long time, which says something about Dr. Unger's office!
Dr. Unger is what I wanted in a surgeon. He is Skilled... knowledgeable. Experienced. And Caring. He was willing to explain the procedure, and answered all my questions. He is Sharp. Discerning.
Dr. Unger has seen me through a 16 month journey post a car crash and an attendant breast injury. He’s so generous with his time and has been so reassuring. I am grateful!
In my estimation Dr. Unger is a very experienced and proficient surgeon. He explained procedures and possibilities before and after my surgery, and although it might have been a challenging task, it was performed and has healed very well. I am grateful to have had him as my surgeon.
From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome and among friends. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous and Dr. Unger has a very nice bedside manner which immediately made me much better about my upcoming surgery. I would recommend Dr. Unger and his team without reservation.
