This doctor has saved my life in many ways. I found her after my lifelong psychiatrist retired. She is knowledgeable, helpful, concerned and very responsive. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Woods. She’s the best!!!
Dr. Woods' office first cancelled my initial consultation because I failed to confirm, according to them. The only problem with that is I did call several times and leave a message to confirm, not my fault that there was nobody on the phone or checking messages. When I finally did get my initial appointment, Dr. Woods was late and then within the first few minutes of talking to me, suggested out of nowhere, and with a smile on her face, that I am on the autism spectrum. Was not at all impressed with my experience. My appointment was changed many times. Dr. Woods was late. It was $500 just to sit and answer her questions. My issue regarding evaluating my medications were barely addressed and certainly not resolved. I’ve since found a fabulous psychiatrist who is incredibly compassionate and truly cares about his patients. He also accepts all insurance.
Dr. Woods is a wonderful psychiatrist. She takes time to listen and also makes sure your medicines are right for you. She is the only psychiatrist who makes me feel that I am a human being who needs help, and not just another case.
