I have been going to the EYE Center for a couple years now. I was looking for a black ophthalmologist in MoCo, close to home and I hit the jackpot with Dr. Shannen Allen. She is knowledgeable, personable, and down right great at what she does! I always leave with a better understanding of my eye health and additional tools for improving my vision. I went because I woke up with crusty and itchy eye lids for several days in a row. I googled it and it sounded like i had a condition called Blepharitis. I went to Dr. Allen after seeing that she trained at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Allen did a thorough exam and confirmed what I had.
