Dr. Varma gave me back my life. After being misdiagnosed as bipolar for over a decade, and being put on the maximum prescription dosage for that condition, she worked with me in slowly weaning down my medications. Dr. Varma is so attentive and caring. I have been going to her for 6 years and can’t imagine being in any other psychiatrist’s care. Her rigorous training in becoming a licensed psychiatrist (MD), allows her to give me the best treatment. Mental health is so important and she is fully capable of listening and understanding the patient. I highly recommend Dr. Varma.

I turned to Dr. Varma when I started to have anxiety at my work. Dr. Varmas office is a safe place, you can feel her passion. There is no judgment, she helps by making light, providing lots of tools and strategies that work best me. Communication is smooth and easy and I truly feel listened to. I recently needed immediate help with medication, a possible change/transition plan, and support for insurance approval. I received an appointment within 24 hours, so the sense of urgency that I conveyed was received and handled efficiently by her staff, Erika, who was friendly and effective. I have been seeing Dr. Varma for the last three years and she is the most open, caring, and honest psychiatrist I have ever met. She has helped me tremendously with career setbacks, medication management, adult ADHD, depression, and anxiety. She really listens to her patients and I look forward to each appointment, as they are always such a pleasure.

I've been a patient of Dr. Varma for almost 5 years and I highly recommend her. She has a wealth of knowledge- both in medicine and professionally in general.
