I feel human again after seeing Dr Varma. She never made me feel embarrassed no matter what I said. My life has changed for the better in more than one big way. When I made the initial appointment she saw me within 2 hours of hearing from me. She explains any medications so it’s not just “here, take this and see me in 2 months.” She goes beyond what you’d expect a psychiatrist to do and will do everything she can for her patients.
Thank you Dr Varma in helping resolve my spouse's problems with anger management and depression. We appreciate all the good work that you have done!
I am surprised by the many favorable reviews. My experience was most unpleasant. She makes a good 1st impression. But do not be fooled. She Is in it for the money! The patient does Not come first. Rather, she undermines your confidence and spaces out medication in an effort to encourage more appointments.
She is very compassionate and understanding at every session. I would recommend her to anyone.
Dr. Varma is remarkable! She is a very knowledgeable and compassionate physician. She gives solid and practical therapeutic advice and has greatly helped me at points in my life when I was at my lowest. She was able to provide direction and resources to help me get better, and for that I am always grateful and very appreciative of her help.
When I first came to see Dr. Varma I was in the worst mental and physical shape of my life. From the very beginning she was honest, trustworthy and made me feel as though I was talking to a friend not a doctor. She made me feel comfortable every visit, like I could tell her everything and she never judged. I have been seeing her for three months and I have not felt so clear headed and excited about life in years. Words cannot express my gratitude And appreciation for giving me my life back.
She is the best psychiatrist I have ever been with. She likes working with patients instead of just blowing the information out of her ears. She listens to you and helps with medication and problems with life. I highly recommend her as a top notch doctor.
I was in bad shape and could not get a doctor to "fit" me in, but Dr. Varma quickly found the time for me. She is excellent at what she does and found me the team that I needed to get better in a very short time. I cannot say enough for the treatment and tools that she has provided for me to use for the rest of my life.

I've been very pleased with her devotion to helping me get through the issues I am dealing with. I would highly recommend Dr. Varma to anyone who is struggling with an illness.
