Dr. Varma is a very detail-oriented doctor and really cares about her patients. She really takes the time to understand the patients needs and develop a care plan.
Dr Varma is a professional and thorough doctor. She is thoughtful and carefully thinks through the diagnostic process. She is a physician first who applies her expertise in both medical and psychiatric areas. She is dependable and more available than most other doctors. I’ve been seeing psychiatrists for 40 years and she is one of the top 2 I’ve had the pleasure to be treated by. I can recommend her highly.
Dr. Varma has helped me a lot with my mental issues and is currently helping me be more positive towards myself. I would recommend coming to see her because she is willing to help and to explore options that i sometimes overlooked or neglected to try until trying them with her.
Dr. Varma helped my daughter with severe depression and anxiety. She's the only doctor we have worked with that provides wrap around services by working closely with other providers and keeping them updated on treatment. Dr. Varma did a thorough job with understanding my child and family issues. She didn't recommend her take any medicine until she felt my daughter really needed it. My daughter is doing much better now thanks to Dr. Varma's treatment!!!!
She is the best psychiatrist I have ever been with. She likes working with patients instead of just blowing the information out of her ears. She listens to you and helps with medication and problems with life. I highly recommend her as a top notch doctor. She is definitely worth the money and time. I've been seeing her for 8 years and she is the best.
Dr Varma is a very thorough psychiatrist. She communicates closely with all my other providers and called my primary care physician and therapist. She is easliy accessible between appointments too. I had a medication reaction and she was reachable immediately to assist me. Dr Varma is caring and easy to talk to. She sees people in real life which I think is important too. I have her see my child too and now she's doing great as well navigating school and social pressures with her anxiety, ADHD, and depression.
Dr Shalini Varma is very helpful to me and my family with my depression. She sends me a summary email at the end of the appointment. Dr Varma gives me homework to complete as well to keep my progress moving forward. Her office is easy to reach and Dr. Varma is easily available as well. I appreciate these things in her practice.
Dr. Varma was able to help me with the depression and anxiety that I had been suffering with for many years. She is very knowledgeable, but open to discussing options suggested by the patient. I was impressed that she took the time to contact my other physicians ( with my approval) to get the information she needed to avoid drug interaction issues, and help with my treatment.
