This is about the physician and I will say that Dr. Mehta is the best. Without him my husband may not be here by my side as I type this. Every office has hectic days, I would have no problem with that as long as the health care is the best, and that is what we experienced.

Everything said about his office staff in these reviews is true. They are a disgrace to the medical community. Oh and he is a sorry excuse for a Dr. Terrible folow through and does not listen.
Dr. Mehta dosent give two cents worth about how you are treated in his office by his staff. Everything these reviews say are true. The excellent review from the woman with Hep C is typical. I know first hand how he deals with patients who seem to have first priority with him, which are druggies alcoholics, HIV. . He is one of the only two specialist in Worcester area that is a Pancreatic Specialist. Otherwise you have to go to Boston or out of state. . So you put up or get lost. No loss.
The receptionist who does Prior authorization is very rude and disrespectful she should be fired. People who go there are sick and are looking for help and treatment and she is a disgrace to the medical profession and is making the whole office look bad. The doctor is a great guy and its a shame she works in this office, she is not professional at all and needs to be educated on how to speak to patients and family members .I work in the medical field and i would never speak to a patient that way
Worcester office staff is the WORST. No compassion....
His staff is atrocious, they forget to schedule procedures, schedule the wrong ones, they don't follow up, they give wrong information, Call in wrong prescriptions, pretty much anything they can screw up, they will. Dr. Mehta seems nice, but his appointments are 5 minutes long after about a 5 month wait, he does not follow up, nor communicate properly with his staff or patients. He's either too busy, or simply doesn't care.
He is the best!!!! He got me the brand new medicine for Hep C and 5 yrs later I am still viral free! He gave me a second chance at life and I couldn't recommend him more for any G.I. problems!!! He is simply the best and he's always studying the latest ways in helping G.I. problems and being the best doctor he can possibly be!
Dr Mehta is brilliant caring and a very good doctor .He really wants to help his [patients and is very encouraging .He has performed an endoscopy liver biopsy and this week a colonoscopy. I trust him completely ! H e treated me for HEPATITIS C and I was cured after 2 tries 2 YEARS with the very best meds AND finally 6 months of Harvoni cured me .Dr,Mehta knows exactly how to deal with the insurance company to make your case for treatment.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS OUTSTANDING DOCTOR
