Dr. Galpin and his staff have been outstanding - appointments are on time, experience is amazing, and all of our questions about my son's recent surgery were answer before, during, and after. We highly recommend Dr. Galpin to other families.
My daughter has been suffering from severe back pain. Our primary physician recommended Dr Galpin as our first step. For the past 3 months Dr Galpin has patiently workrd with us as we went through multiple tests to find answers. Of course as a mother I had a million questions and he took the time to explain and review each test result.. Dr Galpin has a very serious bedside manner but at the same time very patient and compassionate.
Pompous and arrogant, when asked questions, speaks on behalf of everyone in the profession. Told us EVERYONE sided with him. Told us we are free to go else where n I will. He was quoting other drs. But when i looked up the research he was quoting and told him its not the same, he got nasty with us and then with his staff. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND HIM. I feel sorry for his staff and the fact we been seeing him 3 yrs...my poor kid....
You would think at his age and time spent as a pediatric doctor this his patient bedside manner would be astounding. Well it is by far the worst I've ever been around. Show some compassion for your patients and remember they are CHILDREN!!! unreal.
Beyond arrogant. The first appointment we waited 4 hours and never saw Dr. Galpin, just a resident, even though we specifically requested to consult with him. (My son had a broken arm; a determination if surgery was needed to pin the bone.) The second visit we finally met him; zombies from the walking dead have more manners. My son raised his hand to ask Dr. Galpin a question and he would not acknowledge him! Pompous and ill mannered bedside manner.
My daughter has seen Dr. Galpin a few times over the last year for an ankle injury. We both find him to be extremely rude & speak to you in a condescending way. It appears that he has very little time/patience for you. As you speak to him, he slowly inches toward the door. Should the need arise for my daughter to see an orthopedic doc again, I will definitely be looking for another that is more concerned with her rather than trying to run from the exam room.
Dr. Galpin is the Best Surgeon. My boys have both seen him. I TRUST his judgement completely. He is through, highly component, and very well respected among the other orthopedic surgeons around the country. Dr. Galpin is "THE" orthopedic surgeon who evaluates, diagnoses, stabilizes and manage patients with traumatic injuries. He manages the difficult cases at Children's Hospital. He also specializes in the treatment of injury, disease, and deformity as in the case of my sons.
Took my 7 year old here as recommended by her physical therapist. We sat in the waiting room over 2 hours before being taken in to be seen. Office staffed seemed pleasant.
He is hands down the nastiest doctor I have ever met. He is down right rude to both my son and I. We will not answer any questions and acts as if you are inconveniencing him.
