Sadly, Dr. Nguyen is not covered by my insurance. However, he was willing to step in and come down on both my PCP and the retina specialist, that my insurance would cover, to get me the treatment needed to save my sight. Seriously! These other guys would have let me GO BLIND. It is absolutely to his credit that I can see to write this! He did this out of his own goodness, not because I was his patient or I was paying him for the service. Dr. Nguyen is patient and kind. He is also very skilled in his field and explains all procedures and patiently listens to when you have questions. He performed a surgical procedure and some follow up procedures on my eyes. I would recommend him to anyone young and old.
Dr. Nguyen saved my eyesight. I would be partially or totally blind today if I had not started seeing him several years ago. Remember that old childhood rhyme, "stick a needle in my eye"? Well if that's something you need, medically, this is the doctor you want to do it. Dr. Nguyen is the most talented and skilled ophthalmologist anywhere.
