Dr. Deshmukh and his surgical staff treated me so amazingly well. I had rotator cuff surgery on my right side done in May 2018 and on the left side done in July 2018. I would highly recommend him to anybody looking to have this kind of surgery.
Dr Deshmukh performed my successful arthroscopic shoulder surgery in January 2008. A decade later the shoulder continues to function well. I appreciated his professionalism, his manner, and his up-to-the-minute mastery of the procedure. I recommend him with enthusiasm.
Unbelievable credentials, specialized training and a caring and attentive manner - he personally calls you the night before surgery to discuss any concerns you may have. He has successfully operated on me twice (rotator cuffs in separate shoulders), and in each case the rehab has been easy with a complete recovery. The physical therapist noted that his patients rehab easier than others due to his “light touch” and the care that he takes during surgery. I can not recommend him strongly enough.
I was in Viet Nam & received a gunshot wound to the right shoulder in 1967. I have had progressive pain and loss of movement in my shoulder. I was told several times there was no available surgery for a shoulder so damaged. In May 2018 Dr. Rahul Deshmukh performed a total reverse shoulder replacement of my shoulder. Now I am pain free with improved range of motion. Dr. Deshmukh is a gentle man with extensive professional care and knowledge. I have the highest regard for his surgical abilities.
Dr. Deshmukh has performed two surgeries for me. Both surgeries went extremely well and produced excellent results. Dr. D's approach to my patient care was compassionate, kind and educational. His patient is educated on all the methods of treatment, including surgery if indicated. The decision and timing for surgery was mine to make. Brian, his PA, is one of the most personable and skilled PA’s I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Dr. Deborah Jackson, PT, cannot be matched her field of PT.
Prior to my successful reverse shoulder replacement surgery with Dr. Deshmukh I was in severe pain. My left shoulder had deteriorated to bone on bone. The goals of my surgery were to reduce my pain and to fully raise my left arm so I could play tennis with my wife. What really impressed me was Dr. Deshmukh’s sincere enthusiasm with the results of my surgery. I cannot express enough my appreciation for the professional care I received. Dr. Deshmukh is an excellent and knowledgeable surgeon. He has a kind and genuine concern for his patients needs. He has great bedside manner, from meeting you for the first time throughout your surgical needs and follow up. He explains in an understanding way and speaks clear English. I have two total knee replacements and doing great! I have total confidence in Dr. Deshmukh
I cannot thank Dr. Deshmukh and his team enough for the excellent job they have done with the rotator cuff repair on my right shoulder. Even with more damage than expected, the surgery went well. The recovery was far smoother than I could have hoped for. I am now back to hitting golf balls with a 3/4 swing at about 1/2 strength without any discomfort. Looking forward to playing all the holes from about 100 yards or so in the next week or two. Thanks again Dr. D.
