Paul Gross walked into Robert Voigt's practice at an emotionally trying time in my family life.I judged him harshly but decided to take time to"find him".After a battery of tedious tests and scans we booked a routine/full physical; he was again "running behind".Despite the ample time I had to consider his attentive manner and knowledgeable advice at each prior appt I was about to walk and seek a new GP. I was with Robert when he took over from Peter, and like many others, I greatly trusted Robert. So it was a shock when I learned that Robert had retired, and that a new, younger doctor was taking on his patients. Yet from the very beginning I knew that Paul was entirely helpful, caring, compassionate and patient. And unlike some others' comments, I feel Paul is very knowledgeable. I like Paul, and I'm very thankful we have him at Spectrum.
Have seen Dr. Gross a couple of times. Must have been a difficult task of taking on another doctor's patients. But, feel that he is too green and not as knowledgeable. Hopefully, as time goes on, that he gains more of my confidence.
I was very attached to Dr Voight and considered him the best Dr. i ever had in my adulthood and I was worrried when I heard I had a new dr. I am please to say that Dr. Paul Gross has a big heart and a very strong "will" and I could tell this from day one. From my heart i appreciate how every time he gives me his full attention, how helpful and kind he is been with me and my terrible work situation. Dr Paul I call him just doesn't sound right saying my doctor's name is Gross..... But I have to say he took over Dr Robert Voigt's patients and he is an upstanding young doctor that is very promising he takes the time when I need to see him and he understands that I have a hard time sitting waiting so he has told me when to try and book my appointments for so I don't have a long wait time to see him. Upon my first appointment Dr Gross decided I had a different diagnosis then Dr Voigt had given me. He also suggested a drug routing that my records show I have already unsuccessfully tried. I am not happy with Dr Gross's approach.
He is a young and seeminly progressive Dr. that has been positive and always having the time to answer questions. Although he has taken over a huge practice of Robert Voight, he is interested in getting to know his " new patients " ... that was my experience ! A great asset to Spectrum Health
He's new and working hard,Works long hours, trying catch up with his new practice and resolving old commitments
I found him to be very caring and personal. Wonderful personality and geniuine desire to know you. Robert will be missed, but Paul is doing a great job filling those big shoes.
