Dr Z did an amazing job on my nose! The spot had been there for years and one of my daughters suggested I have somebody take a look at it. It turned out to be basal cell cancer, and a very significant amount of flesh had to be taken out of the top of my nose. It’s only been three weeks and the hole itself is completely healed! I’m very happy with the progress.
During an̈ annual dermatology check, a suspicious spot was found on my lower leg above the ankle. Dr. Jessica Campestrini, dermatologist, performed a biopsy. The result was a squamous cell skin cancer that needed to be removed. Due to its location, Dr. Campestrini recommended removal by Mohs surgery, which she wasn't trained to do. I had the MOH’s technique done &reconstructive Surgery by Dr.Zito. It was very successful. Everything went good.Dr.Zito was very gentle.I recommend him for anyone that is in need of cancer surgery. There are no scars. People say you can’t tell.
Dr. Zito did Mohs for approximately five hours to make sure he had clear edges. So much tissue was taken out that they had to do a skin graft From his thigh. He did an excellent job on removing the cancer, and the skin graft is great. He is a very skilled physician and I would highly recommend him. I’ve been to several others prior to him, and this was by far the best experience I have had.
