Dr. Hayes failed to diagnose my torn labrum (SLAP tear) and attributed my right shoulder pain/lack of movement as "aging". Dr. Hayes was very terse during the consultation and barley looked at my MRI. Left me with the impression I was more of an inconvenience than a patient. Dissatisfied with his diagnosis, I sought a second opinion at another clinic and was properly diagnosed as having a torn labrum (SLAP tear - visible on the MRI) for which I have now had repaired through surgery.

Dr. Hayes is a gifted physician. I have had two visits with him and found him to be an excellent listener, and coupled with explaining my condition perfectly and carefully reviewing surgical options he allowed me to meet him half way with decisions regarding such. He is respectful with a quietly humble demeanor artfully veiling his skill and confidence.

Dr. Hayes took the time to actually listen to me when I had spent five years going to multiple other doctors. I cannot express how grateful I am that he took the time to not only evaluate my condition but also listened to my desired activity level. I only hope that every Doctor could afford the same patience and practice for any condition and address the patients expected activity level.

Dr. Hayes has helped me over the last several years with various shoulder and wrist problems. He is very concerned about your pain and different ways to alleviate it. He is quiet-spoken but is very kind to his patients. I believe he works hard to make your problem better. I would recommend him to anyone with upper limb pain or injury.

I've been a patient of Dr. Hayes for several years and he has treated me in office as well as done a couple of surgeries. He is a great doctor. He listens, he asks questions, he gives choices of ways to tackle a problem. Best of all, he cares.
