I waited 4 months for a colonoscopy appointment only to continue waiting on the day of the procedure. After checking in 20 minutes prior to my appointment, I waited another hour and a half in the waiting room. Once I made it to a “room”, the nurse staff appeared overwhelmed and were not at all attentive. I was rolled into the procedure room even though I had not even met Dr. Patel. Staff was amazing. Super kind and made sure I was comfortable. The doctor didn’t say a word to me, just had me sign a paper, then when I was about to go to sleep he answered his phone and WAS STILL ON THE PHONE WHEN THEY KNOCKED ME OUT! Super unprofessional and concerning. got no answers after the procedure and didn’t talk to anyone after my procedure. Super weird.
When I moved to Colorado, I was assigned a person that I didn’t care for my liver problem so I decided to try Dr. Pinto. It was the best move I could have done. Dr. Pinto cares for his patients and monitors you ensuring you are cared for in addition, getting you the necessary tests. He is really great and I am happy I made the change!!!
Doc came in and introduced himself and was very cordial. I was asked a couple questions and next thing I knew I was waking up in the recovery room. All in all was a very quick and efficient visit for an EGD. Handed a quick summary report and once cleared was allowed to be on my way. Received a followup call to ensure all was well.
