Helped with a leg injury and had me back to soon in a short period of time ! I highly recommend him ....
I went in to see Dr Herrema for left hip pain - he came in, answered every question I had after he explained in detail what my options were. He did not make me feel rushed and he took as much time as needed prior to the surgery. Dr Herrema used the joint point navigation system and I truly believe that and his expertise made all the difference. I highly recommend Dr Herrema!!!

I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Herrema to perform my hip replacement surgery. From the start he was warm and caring and fully explained the MRI and x-ray results and went on to explain the procedure in detail. On the morning of surgery he stopped in my room with assurances that everything would be fine. Prior to hospital discharge he stopped in once more to wish me well and answer any questions I had. Dr. Herrema is a GREAT doctor. I had been walking with a cane for 18 months due to a repaired torn meniscus (surgery done in Orlando) and RA. He explained all my options before I made the decision to have knee surgery and I’m very happy with the outcome. Have my walking stride back and so happy to have gotten rid of the cane.
New patients BEWARE. This is not a disgruntled patient trashing the doctor. He is very pleasant and knowledgeable. BUT.....the practice seems to be the problem. No Rx ordered (special compounds), no MRi ordered as promised. The rudest nurse ever. If you need relief and treatment find another practice. When you call in as instructed by the Dr, they act like you are trying to call the President.
I AM BLOWN AWAY BY THE KNOWLEDGE AND CARE I RECEIVED FROM DR. HERREMA. I WAS IN GREAT FEAR TO HAVE HIP SURGERY AND WALKED AROUND FOR THE LONGEST TIME WITH GREAT PAIN. I AM AS WELL A PARKINSON PATIENT IN THE 10 TH YEAR WHICH MADE MY DECISION TO UNDERGO A HIP SURGERY EVEN MORE DIFFICULT. I VISITED SEVERAL SURGEONS. WHEN I MET DR. HERREMA I KNEW IMMEDIATELY THAT HE WAS THE ONE. I RECEIVED A NEW HIP, MINIMALLY INVASIVE, ON MARCH 6 TH, 18. I NEVER NEEDED A WALKER OR A CANE. IT IS LIKE A MIRACLE!!
I'm recovering from meniscus surgery that was conducted by another surgeon. Great surgery, but physical therapy undid the benefits that I had experienced from the surgery. Dr. Herrema patiently explained other non-surgical options. He is a caring physician with a conservative approach. I look forward to working with him toward gaining better mobility with less pain. I would recommend Dr. Herrema without hesitation to anyone who wants to "keep their knees" as long as possible.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR,HERREMAN TO EVERYONE WHO NEEDS A GREAT ORTHOPEDIC DOCTOR. 5 STARS IS NOT ENOUGH.
