Pain in bicep. Dr. Wiese told me I needed PT and a cortisone shot before he could do an MRI. (Wouldn’t PT make it worse if it’s a tear?) He insisted Insurance requires it. PT made it worse. Very disappointed, initial visit he seemed concerned but followup visit, not only did his diagnosis change but what he tells patients in person is NOT reflected on test reports, so you walk away confused as to what is wrong. MRI that they provide are labled "w/o professional read" and come from a third party and do not follow normal MRI format, ie no mention of soft tissue, ligaments, etc. If you continue to mention where you hurt, he makes faces and tells you to suck it up by saying "it's part of the process".
Excellent surgeon. Outcomes were as described. Good communicator. Will go back to him for the next joint!
Dr Wiese preformed authroscopy labrum tear sugery on me 2/14/18. I would trust him for any sugery you may need . He explains procedures and has great bed side manner.
He is fantastic!
Very knowledgeable and spends the time with you that is needed. Kind and caring personality and cares about his patients needs. I have not had surgery by him yet so I cannot comment on that now.
Very caring - I have known him and his family for years. Trust him implicitly. He is very intelligent and also has lots of common sense. He helped my daughter and operated on my knee. Very good experiences.
