My experience with other dentist is that I am tense and unconsciously holding my breath during the work. Not so much in Dr. Shields' office. On my last visit 5/26/16, I was so relaxed I think I slept for a moment while waiting for the pain medication (not gas) to kick in before the procedure. I am very impressed by his extreme attention to detail and care, and by his adoption of new technology. The office staff is friendly and professional. They send you alot of reminders which is a good thing. Very nice hygienst that do a a great cleaning job. Dentist is nice and to the point. My husband hates going to the dentist, but doesn't mind going here.
