I saw Dr. Furman for a steroid injection in my arthritic hip. He's congenial, caring, and takes every step he can to minimize pain in what could be a miserable procedure but ends up as no big deal. As I told him, He knows his way around a hip." I've also seen him for epidural injections in my spine and he's just as wonderful for that.
Dr. Furman and his staff are the Best. They are personable, professional and accommodating. Dr. Furman will put you at ease with his funny and pleasant personality. More important than that, I trust him as a Doctor and will not see anyone else if I need his specialty procedures.
I have had many issues with my back and I cannot thank Dr. Furman enough because he has gone to the "extreme" trying to alleviate/decrease my pain. Dr. Furman has been candid about my "lower back" health issues because I see him study my whole history of my (back) specific pain and he has used a magnifying glass looking for a recipe to support that discomfort that I have had. I had to have a Cervical CT Myeloram. I was nerves about getting a needle in my spine but Dr. Fruman put me right at ease. He let me know everything thing he was doing up to and including the injection. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing injections. He is a very caring man.
Only doctor who ever took my pain seriously. He was patient and listened to all of my concerns. I would highly recommend him to any person who has chronic pain.
I went to him for severe thumb joint pain, I had it for months hindering my daily activities. After the ultra sound guided injection I have no pain and could do everything. The entire OSS staff is wonderful from being greeted at the door to getting checked out. Have been there for elbow surgery also.

Went to Dr. Furman with back and leg pain. After an MRI he suggested an ablation procedure for the back pain and an epidural for the leg and ankle pain. After both procedures, I am ecstatic to report that I am pain free for the first time in years. Highly recommend.
I would highly recommend Dr. Furman to anyone experiencing chronic pain. I have been a patient of Dr. Furman for over 5 years. He is an exceptional pain management doctor. He is always kind, friendly and knowledgeable. His ability to help those in pain is outstanding and I am grateful I found him for my care.
