I have known Dr Furman since 1996 when he worked at KDV Orthopeadics. He has administered 3 epidurals to my lower back in the last 8 years while operating at OSS here in York, PAand each one gave me significant relief. He is very professional and thorough and I would highly recommend this surgeon to anyone.
I have had a number of epidurals in my back and recently had an S1 injection. Dr. Furman is very good at explaining the procedure and the location of where he will be doing the injections. He is aware of the patient's pain during the injections and is very gentle doing the injections. I have had other doctors at this facility do injections over the years and they have not taken the time to really explain the procedure or try to be aware of the patient's discomfort during the procedure.
Dr. Furman initially treated me for hip pain using hip injections and is presently treating me for an SI joint problem that requires an injection. I have the utmost respect for Dr. Furman as a doctor but also as an person. He has a scintillating personality that is uplifting for a patient coming in with pain and earned my confidence in my first visit to his office. He has a caring and kind, respectful, skillful & gentle bedside manner that I so appreciate in a doctor. I just love Dr. Furman!!
Dr. Furman has given my husband his quality of life back through his expertise in administering both epidural injections and Radio Frequency Ablation. His office staff are extremely helpful, courteous, and efficient; getting back to you in a very timely manner with scheduling, etc. The facility in which he works is absolutely topnotch from the personnel to the physical plant.
Dr. Furman is personal, caring, and confident in what he does. I came in for extended concussion treatment and he made me feel at ease. Highly recommend!

Complete trust in Dr. Furman. Dr. Furman takes his time to answer all questions, and gives great feedback. Patients don't feel rushed. Dr. Furman explains procedures very well. His skills are great. Office staff, especially Towanda, do and excellent job with the patients. Though the office is very busy, patients feel well taken care of. Excellent experience overall.
Dr. Furman is a wonderful and caring pain management doctor. He carefully listens to me regarding my problems and discusses options in treatment. . He always takes time to fully explain what needs to be done as well as length of time to expect when pain should lessen.We feel he is like a family friend because of his caring manner. I would recommend Dr. Furman to anyone needing pain management services.
