I appreciate Dr. M. Furman for the following reasons: He was friendly and a good listener, checked and considered other doctor's input when giving me recommendations, especially with other medications I am taking, and offered a couple of options to my concerns.
I have been a patient of Dr. Furman's for over 5 years now. He has great bedside manners, he realizes every patient is different and needs to be treated different, discusses options with you and what will be best for you, listens to what you have to say, and walks you through all his procedures and makes you as comfortable as he can. I will not go any where else for my chronic pain/RSD!! His secretary Cathy is awesome as well! Thank you for all your help Dr. Furman!!
Has treated me numerous times for pain. Always treated me with respect and listened to my complaints giving me options for treatment.

He was exceptionally kind to our daughter. He asked good questions and listened well. When he performed a nerve block he explained the procedure well. The procedure was very successful in returning her to normal life!
Even when I arrived for an appointment that had been rescheduled, Dr. Furman worked me into his already busy schedule so I wouldn’t have to return later. During this visit Dr. Furman guided his intern step by step through my ultrasound injection procedure. He calmly and professionally corrected any missteps without creating any stress for me or the intern, who, by the way, will be an asset to the profession. My husband and I will be leaving for a month-long vacation and I will be pain-free.
Dr. Furman was friendly , he listened to my concerns, ask many questions to ensure that my needs were being met. He examined me carefully and explained the possible causes of my discomfort.
Dr Furman is fantastic! He is considerate and thoughtful of his patients and their needs and excellent at what he does! He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable, taking into consideration my needs - moving furniture and equipment, positioning things in a way that would ensure a successful procedure! He was extremely knowledgable and gentle, and helped me understand what he was doing every step. I would recommend him highly!!!
Wow, for pain management I found a wonderful Dr. Dr Furman truly listens to, not only complaints but , preferences and then work with you!! Total trust in his judgment and capabilities. He really cares about your problem and finding a solution that fits you, as an individual. Just wanted to share.
