I recently had a pain block procedure in my back done by Dr. Furman, and I could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment I walked in, he and the staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. Doctor Furman is by far one of the most caring, experienced, and knowledgeable doctors in his field. I feel extremely safe when seeing him and would highly recommend him.
Dr Furman helped me with my back pain and si joint pain with an injection. He thoroughly examined me and reviewed my MRI along with all documentation needed for insurance. Before the injection he set my mind at ease about the procedure. During the procedure he walked me through exactly what he was going to do. As much as his skill set is awesome his bedside manner is priceless. I highly recommend him!

He was personable and listened to my concerns. He asked questions about my concerns. All my questions were answered with care and patience. He provided me with a pain management plan.
His students or interns may not always be the best, but Dr Furman always makes sure things are done right (and he is one of the best in the business)!
You can't ask for a better, caring doctor. He explains everything that u understand. You can ask any questions and he does not talk over your head. Very personable.
I visited Dr Furman several weeks ago and he gave me a guided cortisone injection into my right shoulder that had given me increasing pain over the last year. I had several issues with it but when I got to the point I could not shoot sporting clays, fly fish or even reach for a plate out of the cupboard without a lot of pain.
