Dr. Buchanan repaired my ruptured Achilles tendon in July 2024. He was thorough in his evaluation (did an MRI) and went through my options prior to surgery. When he did the surgical repair, I had the most positive surgical experience I’ve ever had. Dr. Buchanan provided nutritional, exercise, and mental health recommendations to assist with the long Achilles tendon recovery period. I really appreciated his excellent care and being treated like a whole person!
I was worried about recovery from an ankle replacement and kept putting it off, but Dr. Buchanan’s assurance helped me confidently schedule the surgery. It went very well—I was weight-bearing in about 4 weeks and am now walking well. I recommend him highly!
