Very nice, seemed to really care, did not have to wait forever to get in and out.
Outstanding!!! is what I would call the professional, pleasant experience I have had at every visit to DFW Family MD. Dr. Mark Hammonds and the entire staff greet you and treat you with a positive attitude beginning with a short wait time to making you feel right at home. The facility is "First Class" in every detail. I have been around for many years so have seen several doctors and their facilities and I will rate this as by far the very best. My Husband and I are new to the DFW area. Dr Hammonds was in our area and accepting patients so we decided to give him a try after researching. Between the 2 of us we have been to his office 4 or 5 times for routine care in the 6 months we have been patients. The wait time has never been under 45 min. Today's simple meds follow up was over 90 min. No explanation given. Just left in the waiting room and then in the office. Was with the nurse maybe 5 min and the Dr 10 for the whole visit.
I moved to the area in 2004 and I've been seeing Dr. Hammond ever since. He's very caring and listens to his patients. He's also very good at diagnosing. I noticed someone commented about having to see the nurse practitioner but that's just the way it is now days. I go twice a year and I see Dr. Hammond once a year and the nurse practitioner the next time. If it was something serious, I have no doubt that Dr. Hammond would be seeing me every time. I've never had to wait long at my appointments.
Although I really like the staff, the wait time is ridiculous. An hour and a half for the physicians assistant, not even the doctor to come see me. It seems like they have no regard for their patients time.
