Dr. Shefkind has been my eye doctor for many years and has consistently guided me in the right direction when I had problems. Not too much, not to little. Just the right approach to solving the problem. He has a great office staff as well which speaks to the kind of person he is.
Dr. Schefkin has been my ophthalmologist for years. As a retired nurse I trust his judgment and wouldn’t even consider going to anyone else for my eye care and upcoming cataract surgery
I was bamboozled! I was a new patient that came in for a general eye exam. I had a referral that requires me to pay a $40 copay. I was given what I "THOUGHT" was standard new patient forms. When I went to pay there was an additional $60 "refraction charge." I was told by the front desk that I accepted the charge in one of the documents in the new patient forms. Dr. Schefkind is a very thorough, professional and knowledgeable physician. I have had two cataract surgeries with him and he kept me on course, providing excellent care, in spite of my last minute reservations. I highly recommend him.
Dr Schefkind's kind and compassionate chair-side manner is second only to his competency as a physician. I trust NOONE else with my eyes.
Dr. Schefkind is modern science with an old school ethics. His operation is first rate, timely and effective. I work with doctors as part of my job and I can not tell you how rate it it to find someone of this caliber and dedication to his patients.
