The professionalism of Dr. Schefkind and his staff exceeds that of another opthomologist I’d seen so I prefer to have my cataract surgery with him. I will have eye measurements taken and reviewed by him before discussing lens choices and their price details. He remarked that I should have been informed earlier about my situation..

I was referred to Dr. Schefkind by my personal physician and I was very pleased by every aspect of my visit. He and his staff were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. They answered all of my questions and provided excellent guidance and advice. The facilities and equipment were state of the art and immaculately clean. I have been a patient of Dr. Schefkind for many years and would recommend him to anyone. He is always responsive, listens to any questions you may have, explains everything in detail which you can understand, and provides options for your consideration. Everything has always gone well at my visits and I cannot think of any area in which he could improve. I have always been thoroughly satisfied. I have never felt rushed at my appointments and have no problems making appointments. Kudos to his office staff as well.

I’ve been going to Dr Schefkind for 10 years. He takes very good care of my aging eyes. He always has time to answer all my questions. He did cataract surgery on both eyes. I highly recommend Dr Schefkind. His staff members are kind and supportive.
I have been going to Dr. Schefkind for almost 30 years. He and his team consistently provide Excellent eye testing and very thorough eye examinations. Dr. Schefkind has an Excellent medical education and Outstanding hands-on medical experience. Dr. Schefkind and his staff listen to their patients and clearly and completely answer all their questions in terms that a layman can understand.
The visits to Dr. Schefkind for an ophthalmic workup are themselves, uneventfull. Dr. Schefkind and his staff preform thorough opthtalmic workups on patients. The ophthalmic workup process takes between 40 - 60 minutes. My beef is being forced into using the 'patient portal' to schedule an appointment, or ask a question. However, one must first establish an account on the partal. Once the account is established, one must ask questions from within the portal to the physicians.
