Dr. Hambly explained what was going on with my spine and what he could do to help. He is easy going and a good listener. He lets you decide what you want to do. The surgery went very well for me. Dr. Hambly and his medical team were astounding. It has been about a month now and I am healing very quickly. I am walking up to 4 miles a day now, so far. The best news is, that the original pain is gone and I can finally go back to the activities I was doing before the pain started!
I was referred to Dr. Hambly by my spine specialist, Dr. Armstrong and was very pleased with his straightforward approach. I had surgery 2.5 weeks ago and feel better than I have in years! Dr Hambly took as much time as I needed in the pre-op appointment and answered all my questions and even provided me with a link of a sample video of what the procedure would look like. (I needed a stenosis clean out on 5 vertebrae.) I would highly recommend Dr. Hambly if you are contemplating back surgery.
I've been a patient of Dr Hambly's for the past four years. I've had two surgeries on my lower back to relief back pain and associated sciatic pain. Dr. Hambly and his entire staff have been exceptional in their care of my needs. I have found that their appointments are very helpful and educational related to my injury. Dr. Hamby and his staff always make me feel as if I'm their only patient. Dr. Hambly was recommended to me by a friend and I would strongly recommend his services to anyone.
Great Doctor, he explained exactly what was wrong with my back and what my options were and what he thought was the best option. He didn’t try to force any one treatment I took his advice and the results have been amazing. I would add his staff is very friendly. I would recommend him to anyone who asks
Doctor Hambly is the best. He is straightforward, honest, and down to earth. I can attest to his skill as a surgeon. I needed a micro-discectomy for a large extrusion. Prior to my surgery I could barely stand or walk. When I woke up in recovery I was pain free, able to stand for unlimited time, and walk unlimited distance - without pain! Immediately after surgery I only needed Ibuprofren for soreness. Doctor Hambly has great skill as a surgeon and is a true patient advocate.
Dr. Hambly suggested surgery for my chronic pain. I am pleased with the results. He is very talented and confident,which helped ease my fears. He just states the facts and lets you decide for yourself. He is concerned with details,as far as comfort while recovering, infection prevention, and safety.
The first time I saw Dr Hambly was in 2010. I had chronic sciatica pain. Injections were not working anymore so we decided on a micro discectomy and it got the job done. In February of this year I herniated C4-5, C5-6. The pain was debilitating. I met with Dr Hambly and we decided having them fused was the best option for me. My surgery was in May and it was a success. Dr Hambly is a great surgeon. He has been very supportive and positive. Thank you to you and your staff, you're all amazing.
Dr. Mark Hambly's warm, calm manner helped to ease my terrified pre-surgery self. He had no problem answering all of the questions on my list, I was never rushed through exams/consultations and he maintained highest standard of care. I recommend Dr. Mark Hambly to everyone I can. Under his care, the whole trajectory of my life changed. I am now able to imagine and plan for the future. Living life instead of existing in it. Bittersweet when treatment ended as I enjoyed a "doctor crush" on him.
What a bitter sweet review I am writing. Dr. Hambly performed spinal surgery on my neck. It has been a long rough road for me that is still not at its end. Every time I go to a follow up appointment and see Dr. Hambly I leave feeling better then when I walked in. Dr. Hambly is an amazing surgeon and has a great bed side manner, I have never felt like he is not listening to me or my concerns about my medical care. He is a funny man with a steady hand. I truly appreciate him!
