Dr. Hambly consulted and gave his options for treatment of a long standing back issue. He was very straightforward and easy to understand. I felt comfortable after the consultations with scheduling my surgery. He shared with me what his expectations of patients was post surgery and what I could hope for in outcome of this type of surgery. My experience with Dr. Hambly was exceptional, I could not have made a better selection for this major procedure.
I had excruciating pain in right buttocks, right hip and sciatic type pain also at times down to the foot. I could no longer walk in any normal sense, and couldn't sit or stand for more than 5 minutes without severe pain. Kept getting worse. Lucky to get in for a discectomy at L5-S1 for herniated disc. I was walking the very next morning totally pain free, and can sit and stand like normal. No complications. Very clear guidance before and after surgery. I am totally grateful.
I was referred to Dr. Hambly for lower back pain and restricted mobility. He quickly diagnosed my problem, performed a fusion of my vertebrae and I am back to work as a garbage man lifting and dumping cans every day. My experience with Dr. Hambly has been excellent. He does not sugarcoat anything. He is very direct and clear with his communication about his findings and recommendation. I was strongly recommend him to anyone experiencing back problems.
Dr. Hambly is an excellent surgeon! He takes time to explain in detail what your condition is and how he can help. Very caring, kind and has a great sense of humor! Felt very comfortable with DR. Hambly from my 1st visit to the end. Had Lumbar decompression and Spinal stenosis. Had surgery in the morning and left the hospital the next morning feeling great.
Dr. Hambly is a superbly talented and experienced surgeon. My wife had a very large cyst pressing against her spine causing significant pain, numbness, and loss of feeling. It was an urgent problem. Annette, his assistant, immediately got us in for a consultation, while also reserving a potential surgery slot. We are grateful for how quickly she responded. Required a spinal decompression laminectomy Dr. Hambly is knowledgeable and a great communicator. Pre op and Post op went exactly as explained and expected. My results are excellent. Lower spine and leg pain has disappeared. Eight weeks post op I can stand and walk without pain...look out golf buddies here I come.
He is wonderful! I had honorific back pain and post surgery none! He is professional, kind and a skilled surgeon! I highly recommend him !
