My experience with Dr. Hambly was great. He is very good about explaining what is going on and takes his time with you. He listens to you. Gave me several different options which I really like. Didn't suggest surgery right away. Very friendly also. I would recommend him highly.

The best surgeon in town! His bedside manner is great and his commitment to patient success is what makes him stand out as one of the best surgeons in Sacramento. I've been suffering w/ pain for over 6 years, on too many pain meds, unable to work, and a previous back surgery under my belt by age 28. I am now without ANY nerve pain, off meds, and getting back to "normal". I cannot thank Dr. Hambly enough!

Having suffered over nine months with severe back pain and after multiple MRIs, doctor visits and spinal injections, I came to Dr. Hambly. He immediately sent me to get X-Rays of my back - couldn't believe no-one had ordered them yet. The X-Rays showed that my L5-S1 disk was completely collapsed, causing bone-on-bone pain and pinching my sciatic nerve so that my left leg and Glute were often numb. Dr. Hambly did a fusion surgery on my L5-S1 and, seven months later, I am virtually pain-free!

Dr. Hambly is an amazing surgeon. I feel so lucky to have gotten my back surgery done by him. He is very professional and took the time to see me multiple times to awnser questions I had. I didn't have that high of hopes going into the surgery because I had been in so much pain for the past few years I couldn't imagine life not in constant pain. I knew 5 minutes after waking up from my surgery that it was better. He went the extra mile to help me and I will be forever greatful.

Dr Mark Hambly is by far the best back surgeon ever. His "bedside manner" and his knowledge are amazing. I suffered from leg pain resulting from a spondylosthesis for approx 15 years as I was terrified to consider surgery. A friend recommended Dr Hambly to me. Because of her recommendation I used Dr Hambly for my second opinion and he immediately became my first. I will recommend him to anyone who needs surgery. His office staff is great

I was referred to Dr. Hambly by Dr. Schneiderman. Dr. Hambly was the doctor who figured out what was going on with me. I was seen by several doctors for my hips and back. I was finally diagnosis with spinal stenosis after an xray. Dr. Hambly knew right away and schedule me for surgery. I was seen on Thursday and had my surgery the following Wednesday. Yes, I would recommend Dr. Hambly to anyone who is having problems with their back or spine.

Dr. Hambly was extremely helpful to me. He explained the problem and the array of potential solutions. I was very impressed with his concern for the long term benefits for me. I feel as though I will be doing the process for me with the least risk. I don't if what we are trying will solve the problem, but I feel confident we will.
