I went to Dr. Werlin because of friends' recommendations and great reviews. I have to say that I am very disappointed with the whole experience. Dr. Werlin and his nurses are very nice and friendly. The chief finanicial officer rarely return phone calls or emails. After 4 failed attempts of IVF cycles, my husband and I are looking for another fertility clinic.
We have not experienced any trouble with the office staff or phone calls being returned. I can't say enough about how at ease Dr. Werlin has made me feel. Jojo is my nurse, and she always returns calls and emails promptly. The personal phone calls from Werl also make the process so much easier because he is available to answer questions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or his office to anyone who is in need of his expertise. Very professional and extremely caring.
I am sorry Dr. Werlin for rating you on your poor staff. Considering how much communication goes between the patient and staff, they really should be somewhat professional. I am so frusterated in dealing with them not returning phone calls, relying on them to direct me on time sensitive tests and so forth is virtually impossible and inefficient. I am looking for professionalism elsewhere.
I agree with other reviewers in saying that the staff is terrible, including nurses, office staff and the billing department. You will be asked for money upfront and will have to make choices about how many cycles you want to do upfront. Somewhat high-pressure for me. I heard great things and had high expectations but wound up with multiple failed cycles. I haven't had any issues with the staff. They have always been helpful and returned my calls. Whether the news is good or bad, Dr. Werlin is professional and helpful. If you have lab work done then he calls you the same day with results. How many doctors actually call you personally the same afternoon??
I absolutely love Dr. Werlin, he cracks me up. I had an IUI done and got pregnant on the first try. I loved being able to go in for weekly ultrasounds once I got pregnant. He is a very patient, caring doctor, and I’m so glad we went to see him. I’ll definitely go back when we’re ready for our next baby.
He is great, going back a 2nd time. His staff is HORRIBLE!! Rude, and forgetful! I think I will tell him this time!!!!
I can't agree more with a precious post - Dr. Werlin is fine but the staff is horrible, right down to the billing person. No staff is responsible for what they said. If you leave msg asking price, there might be several different persons calling you back with a different quate. If there's something wrong with it, each person would say they don't know whose fault is it. You've never got the info you need to know and the billing is a zillion times frastrasted.
I went to see Dr. Werlin because of so many of my friends'friends had success at his fertility clinic. What a big disappointment. Dr.Werlin is a nice doctor but if you have a difficult case and several failed cycles (I had high FSH) he will not be the best doctor for you.I do have to say that appointments at his office was always very punctual.
