Okay lets face it, if you are headed to a fertility clinic then you are very aware of how expensive IVF or any other treatment is so please don't rate on that. Second, Doctors are not God, they can't wave a magic wand and make you pregnant so don't rate on that either. I am a patient of Dr. Werlins, he is the most amazing doctor out there especially for this field. He has the best bedside manner and is always positive! A little respect for my time would have been appreciated. His staff isn't organized. He wasn't funny, though he tried to be. Got no new information that was useful, so I stopped going.
LOVE Dr. Werlin! He has been so patient through our first IVF cycle. He does ALL his ultrasounds himself and even calls patients himself. His staff is so caring and responsive to concerns. I'm so glad I found him! He sees a lot of patients, but still manages to make us laugh and feel special when we're in for an appointment. He even went through the trouble of using a different PGD lab for us because of our situation. Just love him :)
IVF is expensive and not for everyone. Not everyone has the money, tolerance, or moral comfort with IVF. Dr. Werlin told us that IVF was our only hope, and was not helpful in any way in suggesting other options. I'm surprised that a doctor with his expected training would have very little to offer. He wasn't clear in his communication in explaining what was wrong with us, leaving us with a very incomplete and unsettling feeling. After 1 year trying getting pregnant and my OB running infertility tests with no problems found, she sent me to Doc Werlin who immediately found and fixed the problem. I got pregnant naturally a cycle after taking the prescribed medication. I highly recommend Doc Werlin's diagnostic services, he has also gotten my friend pregnant after 3 IVFs with another doctor, he succeeded on his 2nd IVF with her. Dr. Werlin and staff have been nothing but amazing. They are like one happy family (including the surgery center). My husband and I knew we found the right doctor for us the second we met with Dr. Werlin. His upbeat personality and staff that remember who you are and where you're at in treatment is a wonderful treat when going through this emotional journey. I would refer all my friends and family to Dr. Werlin. PS Lisa the phelbotomist is amazing!
Dr. Werlin was great, his staff was horrible. After first appointment (which wasn't easy to get), never returned to him because his staff failed to meet expectations. My phone calls have never been returned, however, when they called they asked for some other patient. Totally mixed it up. Again, Dr. Werlin was special and very kind.
I absolutely love this man! We had major fertility issues and he SOLVED the puzzle. He is extrememly caring and wants nothing more than help you succeed in having a child/children. He does expect you to uphold your end of the agreement - make payments in a timely manner and be ON TIME to your appointments! If you are someone who has issues with punctuality, this is not your clinic. He has very high standards for himself and his patients. RUN,RUN from this office!! Nurse and finace people really rude and unprofessional they act like they are doing you a favor! The nurse never return my phone call for ultrasound appt. my husband wanted to ask the Dr. W a question and they told him there will be a charge??!! I had genetic testing done no one called me with the results then i had blood work on the 2nd day no one called me with these results. i was very hurt and dissappointed because Dr. W seemed like a good Doc but his staff needs an overhaul.
