Before LASIK with Dr. Filutowski, my life was always a struggle. When I would go for my yearly eye exam, my vision got to the point that I could not make out the big E on the vision charts. Glasses and contacts worked to get my vision to where I could see but it was always a hassle. Living in Florida I am either at the beach or pool on the weekends, and neither glasses nor contacts work well with water. I would either have to swim blind, or plan on losing a contact in the waves. This is an amazing doctor and his staff is fantastic. From the very beginning the whole cataract surgery procedure was professional, relaxing (huge since you only get one set of eyes), and the results are tremendously fulfilling. Never would have believed the difference. Both my husband and myself are so very pleased. Only negative is that we didn't both take care of this years ago. Distance & night vision need no assistance and we only need mild reading glasses. Thank you Dr. Filutowski for a wonderful experience.

Filutowski institute took my insurance for office visits, but not for cataract surgery, which for me, was out of pocket. In light of a high deductible insurance, I spent much telephone time shopping for cataract surgery. Most Dr's Offices would not give a straight answer on the cost of the procedure. I am 70 yrs. old and have worn glasses since I was 11. I could not imagine eyesight without glasses. Dr. Filutowski is a gifted surgeon, with state of the art equipment and is surrounded by a professional and pleasant staff. I arrived for my cataract surgery, everything was ready I had a few drops put in my eyes and went off to surgery. Dr. Filutowski and Dr. Dempsey were extremely knowledgeable and nice, and their staff was excellent! I had LASIK done by Dr. Filutowski in the Lake Mary office, and I went to the Orlando office to have my consultation with Dr. Dempsey and I couldn't have asked for better service or professionalism. I did have to wait for quite a bit on my consultation day, but Dr. Dempsey and my counselor answered all of my questions for me, and got me scheduled for my procedure the next week!
