They have no idea how to schedule appointments. Change time from 4:00 to 2:40 and then don’t start procedure until 5:15. Zero Customer Service.
Had cataract surgery at Dr. Filutowski's Eye Institute in Lake Mary, FL just over two years ago. Very possibly the most professional medical facility I have ever been in. The staff was so well trained and so attentive. I no longer see yellow street lights, or any other lights in fact, but nice bright white lights. Removing the cataracts also improved my overall vision. I continue to go to the Orlando office for regular check ups and would not consider going anywhere else for my eye care.
Extraordinary eye surgeon. He changed my life. I could never wear contacts and wore thick glasses all my like due to an extreme astigmatism. Dr. Filutowski performed Lasik on both my eyes in 2007 and PRK in my right eye in 2017.
So many things were missed about my eyes prior to having cataract surgery, and after. I had to go to another Physician only to find I have Map Dot Fingerprint. I only went here because my Lasik surgery here was such a success back in 2001. I am having significant issues mostly in my left eye since the cataract, and then the LAG surgery to correct the cloudiness. I went to Dr. Filutowski after years of nearsightedness. I recently moved to Florida, glasses and contacts were not an option. The Filutowski center in Lake Mary is amazing. The staff is wonderful and so helpful. The day I had HD LASIK I was nervous but the staff was wonderful and calmed me down. Dr. Filutowski was amazing!! Having LASIK was the best decision I ever made. I am so glad that I went to Dr. Filutowski!!! No more fussing with glasses or contacts!!!

I chose "Dr. Fil" because I wanted the best! I have had a fear of blindness ever since I was a young child, so I took this surgery very, very seriously. I wanted the finest surgeon I could find - one who had performed this operation thousands of times - and had encountered every type of possibility. The whole experience from day one beginning with the ladies at the front desk to the exam to Cassie explaining the procedure to the Doctors performing the procedure to the nurses attending to the follow up was nothing short of amazing . The entire staff at both the Hiawassee office and the Lake Mary surgical center were great . Everyone had my care and each patient there as their top priority .
