Dr. Ju was fantastic at evaluating my needs and doing the most minimally invasive procedure to correct my disc issue. I had back pain for over a year that could only be helped through surgery. He was engaging and always sharing information so I could understand what to expect. He is an expert at what he does, but still treated me with mutual respect. I highly recommend him and Texas Bank Institute.
He is very good at bedside manner, and takes time with his patients.
I could not have been more satisfied with my experience with Dr. Ju. He was a pleasure to deal with and took the time to thoroughly explain the problem with my back and treatment options. When other treatments failed to resolve the pain he performed surgery which involved replacing two discs and fusing three vertebrae. I was able to work in my yard and garden three weeks after the surgery with very little pain. I am 100% satisfied with my treatment.
Little over a year I've had pain starting in my lower back shooting down my left leg, everyday tasks became hard to do because of it. I couldn't pick up my left leg or bend over without sharp pain, also walking and standing became challenging. Dr Ju was very patient and calm when explaining what surgery I would need, how long the surgery would take and my recovery period. I was off pain meds in 14days only muscle relaxers do to muscle soreness from healing and surgery. My follow up was a good review and now I go back in 4 weeks for another check up. My surgery was complicated by previous surgeries. This time my cervical spine has been fused with no problems. I would recommend Dr Ju.
Seven weeks ago today Dr. Kevin Ju performed the first of two back-to-back surgeries to correct several degenerative conditions in the lumbar region of my back. When I first met Dr. Ju, I had already had 3 spine surgeries in 10 years--1 neck and 2 lower back (after being rear-ended by a texting SUV driver). Over a year ago I began experiencing excruciating pain in my legs/hips. Dr. Ju performed a 6-hr., 2-part surgery for stenosis, scoliosis and removing/replacing/adding hardware. Now, 8 weeks later, this 83-yr. old patient highly recommends Dr. Ju as an outstanding doctor with great bedside manner and the best surgeon I have ever dealt with.
Two years ago, I was referred to Dr. Ju from a Dr. at the Dallas, Tx Location. I was a mess, no feeling in my hands or toes, stumbling and tripping over my own feet, no coordination none whatsoever. I was diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis. I was on the verge of being permanently paralyzed. Dr. Ju took me as a patient within the next week and a week later I underwent surgery In my neck.
