At 81, I had suffered for months with excruciating leg and back spasms from a pinched nerve at L3. Dr. Ju repaired the problem, the pain is completely gone, and I'm able to function normally after two weeks. I recommend Dr. Ju as a competent, skilled professional for any spinal problems.
Overall the experience with Dr. Ju was above my expectations. Very positive and optimistic about everything and always thorough with explanation. Had a herniated disk surgery and would recommend him to any other person!
Dr. Kevin Ju is god send for my dad. My dad suffered lower back pain for more than a year. He wasn’t able to sit at all. He tried every non evasive method from physiotherapy to spinal injections. Went for the first time on Wednesday, May 22, 2020. He listened very carefully and asked all the right questions, then, gave me options for treatment and tests. I am glad I went.
Dr. Ju is an amazing surgeon with a great bedside manner and office staff. Thorough, kind. I had compressed vertebra in my neck with progressive symptoms. The symptoms were gone in the recovery room. I was cared for beautifully and while the neck brace was a pain, it wasn't unmanageable but it was necessary. The follow up was excellent. i was quite scared, even though I am a nurse, before the surgery but my fears were unfounded. i highly recommend Dr. Ju.
Dr. Kevin Ju performed back surgery on me and did a fantastic job. I no longer have any back pain. The follow up visits were thorough and informative. I would highly recommend Dr. Ju for any patients that may be experiencing any back ailments.
My back was a real mess, Dr. Duffy explained what he was going to do to fix me up prior to surgery. The surgery went very well from my perspective, and Dr. Duffy said he was very pleased with how the surgery went. My pain level on a 1-10 scale prior to surgery was an 8-9 daily. Within an hour of awaking from the surgery, I realized that my legs were pain free. I was up and walking within 2 hours of surgery. 5 months later I feel my surgery was 100% successful.
I absolutely recommend Dr. Kevin Ju to anyone with back issues!! On my first appointment, he reviewed my MRI report, and we scheduled a date for surgery. I immediately had relief from the back pain that I had been suffering for months! Dr. Ju has excellent bedside manners, explains in detail, and takes his time with patients. He is definitely the "go to" doctor for back pain!
