I met Dr. Ju when he fit me in for a Saturday appointment for a neck condition that was rapidly escalating. He followed a conservative approach to my condition, which I agreed with and appreciated. He explained each step of the way and took extra time to explain my condition in light of imaging. Ultimately he changed his schedule so that I was able to obtain surgery more quickly. At this time I am healing rapidly and completely satisfied with my treatment. I am happy to recommend him.
My experience with Dr. Ju was great. He explained what was causing my pain and what steps were necessary to fix the pain. After sugary I had no pain in my legs. I would recommend him to everyone who has back problems.
Before finding Dr. Ju, I had been to see 3 other spine surgeons across DFW to try and fix the problem caused by a previous spine surgery. Dr. Ju took the time to go through all of my previous surgeries and MRI's, did a thorough examination, and explained exactly what was causing my problem. Needless to say, I trusted him implicitly. 5 days after my neck surgery my incision got infected so I called and got in right away. When I was seen I was told, not infected but put on antibiotic just incase. Infection got much worse so sent several pics and made several calls. Told NOT infected! The infection was so bad pus was running down neck and VERY swollen. Since ignored, I ended up having to go to ER to get treated. I refused to see doctor after that so I'm now without care since no other doctor will take over! Thanks for nothing!
Dr. Ju quickly diagnosed the herniated disk in my neck that was causing my neck/arm/hand pain. He crafted a treatment plan of a spinal fusion surgery and recovery restrictions that followed the surgery. His treatment relieved me of my neck pain and had significantly improved my arm & hand strength. Dr. Ju is a very intelligent, caring, and skilled doctor. He exceeded my expectations of the surgery and how he treated me. I have never had a better or more personal care from a doctor.
After months of neck pain and severe headaches, it was discovered that I had C-Spine issues. I had severe narrowing in my C4-5,C5-6 and C6-7 levels. I made an appointment with Dr. Kevin Ju and immediately felt that he was the Dr that I could trust to take care of my issues and perform my surgery. I can not express the gratitude and respect that I have for Dr. Ju. He is a great Surgeon and caring Doctor, It is 6 weeks after surgery and I am feeling and doing great! I highly RECOMMEND!!!
I was referred by my Primary Care Physician. From the moment I walked into the Texas Spine Institute in Rockwall, Texas, I was extremely impressed. The staff is very friendly, helpful and efficient. My experience with Dr. Ju was outstanding. He was very open to exhausting all avenues of treatment before we ultimately decided on surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Ju and his crew to anyone needing spine treatment. They made this the most pleasant experience.
As a 62 yo male, which had never had a surgery, I was wanting to allow my lower back to just heal itself. Going from unbearable pain to maybe I can live with this, Dr. Ju gave me plenty of time. Not wanting to spend the rest of my life on meds, and after answering all my questions (patiently) I chose a discectomy. Would not change a thing. Even during the healing, when trying to do too much Dr Ju and his staff would patiently rein me in. Were very professional and as nice as could be. Thanks
While under the care of Dr. Kevin Ju MD. I was treated as a patient with pain, that even tho at a elderly age I deserved to be pain free. Dr. Ju shared all of the risks that I faced because of my age, but, took every precaution to make my surgery a success. Dr. Ju is a very skilled back surgeon that was a blessing. Thank you Dr. Ju
