Dr. Harper failed to biopsy a lesion that I was concerned about, despite the fact that I had a history of skin cancer, twice, in that same location on my face. Because she told me what I wanted to hear (it's nothing), I waited a year before getting it rechecked. It was cancer, and I required extensive, disfiguring reconstruction at that point. In part, I blame myself for not being assertive enough and insisting on a biopsy. But she should have performed one, without question.
After two disasterous experiences with other dermatologists, Dr. Harper put me on the right track. I can't recommend her highly enough.
I was referred to Dr. Harper from my own dematologist because she was suppose to be the best in dealing with difficult cases. I was so pleased with who. She was very professional, caring & compassionate with me. He and another doctor both worked with me and was going to try something different with me but she was sending a letter to my own Dermatologist to handle to keep me from driving so far. I high recommend her as a Doctor. There is no doubt I would use her again. Thumbs up!
