I went to Dr. Price at age 66, I had a pinched nerve, and 2 deteriorated disc. The pain was unbearable. He was patient, knowledgeable, and gave me options. I most liked that he wasn't "pushing the knife". I chose to try injections, but I needed more relief. In Aug. 2020, Dr. Price performed a skilled, successful surgery. No issue with the incision site, it healed beautifully. Pain, tingling gone. Only 4 months, no pain meds, just a 20 min. ice pack after therapy. Thank you, Dr. Price.
Athens Orthopedics is the best, the staff and especially Dr. Price. He lets you know what the issue is and then seeks your feelings on how you would like to proceed. Dr. Price gives you the options and talks you through in finding the best solution. He always takes time and listens to you, very professional.
Everyone at the office was very welcoming and professional. I was early for my appointment and they were able to take me back pretty quickly. Dr. Price was very knowledgeable and took time to listen and make a plan to help with my neck and spine issues.
Dr. Price performed survey on my neck to clean up bone spurs, a disc that was all but gone, relieve pinched nerves and fuse C5 & C6. He did an awesome job and from the very start I have been able to go twice as long as recommended without pain killers. My husband is so impressed with how well everything has gone that he is finally considering getting the surgery he has needed for many years.(as long as Dr. Price can do it). This was my first visit with Athens Orthopedic Clinic. I was very impressed with the pleasant demeanor and friendliness of everyone I had contact with, from the receptionist, med techs, x-ray techs, and Dr. Julian Price. Dr Price was great! He explained everything to us, answered all of our questions, and really helped us.
I began going to Athens Orthopedics three years ago. Dr. Price is by far the best specialist I've seen. He is knowledgable, friendly and easy to talk to (and understand). If he doesn't know the answer he's not afraid to admit it, and then embarks on the journey with you to find the answer you need. I highly recommend Dr. Price. I plan to continue my care with him for years to come.
Had lower back surgery last year with Dr Price. Surgery was a complete success. Great surgeon with wonderful bedside manner.
