Dr, Gibbs is an. Excellent doctor. I would recommend him to anyone. He is professional and he and his staff are very kind and efficient. You are seen immediately when you have an appointment.
Dr Gibbs advised me a total hip replacement was necessary due to the condition of my hip. Within two weeks the surgery was completed by Dr. Gibbs at Lakeland Hospital and now five weeks afterward i am without pain for the first time in over three years. After almost 30 years in law enforcement it was refreshing to have someone so straightforward with his diagnosis and the expertise to complete the procedure in such a timely fashion. I would highly recommend Dr. Gibbs for your orthopedic care.
I am thankful and happy with the work Dr. Gibbs did on my knee. I felt safe during the whole process and he was also very strait forward and easy to understand.
When I fell and fractured my wrist Dr. Gibbs worked me in and got me taken care of in no time. Being disabled makes it difficult for me to get around but he made the whole process quick and painless. My fracture is now healed and I am not having any issues. If you are looking for a kind and educated orthopedic surgeon Dr. Gibbs is the doctor to see.
My son fell off his scooter. The next day he was complaining of wrist pain. Dr. Gibbs worked him in same day. He looked at the x-ray & immediately showed me & made sure I understood where the fracture was.He was very personable with my son only being 10years old tried to help get the situation off his mind. He even personally spent the time putting the cast on making sure it was perfect!The world definitely needs more doctors like him who not only have great bedside manner but efficient care
Dr. Gibbs and his team are all amazing! I had a labrum tear in my shoulder, Dr. Gibbs explained everything to me and was very excited to work with me. He drew out a picture of the shoulder and labrum for me so I knew exactly what was going on and what to expect. He even caught that my labrum was also torn on the back side (which was not shown from my MRI), for me I experienced little to no pain after surgery and my rehab after went flawless and moved along quickly. Great sense of humor too!
Dr. Gibbs did my total hip replacement surgery 6 weeks ago and he was great. Just had my 6-week checkup and I have no restrictions. The surgery went perfectly. It was the most pain-free, drama-free surgery I could have imagined. I only took pain medication for a few hours after surgery. The day after surgery I was walking and I was off the walker in a week and the cane in three weeks. Six weeks after surgery I went to a dance party and danced all night. Would definitely recommend him.
I visited Dr. Gibbs with severe arthritis in my right hip that I had been putting off surgery for many years. One look at my x-rays and I was getting a new hip in 2 weeks. The pain I had been putting up with for so many years is now gone and my biggest challenge will be retraining myself to use my legs properly again. I was walking the next day, and now 2 weeks after surgery am only using my cane mostly as a security blanket. Dr. Gibbs office is very friendly and efficient and I appreciate all.
Was referred from a friend who is in the medical field. I previously had rotator cuff surgery and didn't have the expected result from 3 years ago. I visited Dr. Gibbs and we started a treatment plan right away. He was very thorough and read the repeat MRI himself. He was honest, kind, and I had a 2nd surgery to fix what the problem from the prior surgery. 3 months later I now have ZERO pain!!! The guy is talented!!! What a nice guy and wonderful bedside manner! He is THE BEST doc ever!!!
