Our three year old fractured his arm in two places which is obviously a nightmare for parents. Our ER recommended us to Dr. Killian and I couldn’t be more thankful! The office staff is so helpful and kind, the nurses and his staff are so very kind and warm and gentle. Cody and Melanie were the ones to cast his arm and they were so awesome! As scary of an experience of having your toddler break an arm is - they helped us navigate everything so easily. The reassurance and guidance on the process was excellent! I’m thankful we ... read more

The staff was knowledgeable and very patient with all my questions. Our daughter has Rett Syndrome. We drove over 400 miles to use Dr Killian and Dr Mayberry for her complete posterior spinal fusion with instrumentation. We would not trust her orthopedic care to anyone else.

I went in for a second opinion on my baby boys leg he came in got right to work talking and explaining things to a woman shadowing him. If I asked a question he would give me this look like shut up!! Then he would answer it in a way like I am in idiot and should have known that or shut up! His bedside manner is negative 100!! Again he seems very knowledgeable and knows what he is talking about but lord I feel bad for his staff!! They said follow up in one year I say no thank you I will see myself out and to a new doctor.

Business response:

We waited for over an hour to be seen. My daughter missed school due to the wait. We were there for over 2 hours and spent maybe 25 minutes with doc and clinical staff

my son broken femur was not healing after 3 months post op and instead of acknowledging his surgery was not successful he blamed it on poor imaging, blood flow, and his body. He told my son to walk on his broken leg and a bone stimulator would fix it all. After speaking to two different orthopedic doctors in the area and a second surgery at another hospital my son's bone was healed in 4 weeks. Dr Killian bedside manner is none existent. When I asked and questioned the lack of healing he was rude and condescending, complete g... read more

He took his time speaking with us. His office staff were all great which is hard to find in the healthcare field. They all went above and beyond for our little guy

Dr. Killian demonstrated poor bedside manner. He wanted to give my daughter a cortisone shot in her ankle. As a health care professional myself I am able to understand the terminology, however, Dr. Killian continued to state “I’m going to restart the thermostat in your daughters brain.” He also asked “does your daughter sound like an elephant when she walks into the room?” Overall, I was not happy with his professionalism or his skill set and ultimately switched to another provider.

Dr. Killian saw two of my children through the years and preformed multiple surgeries on both. One was treated for hip dysplasia, he "made" her hip joint. The other treated for hip issues resulting from Perthes. Dr. Killian is kind but matter of fact and realistic. Most importantly, he is an excellent surgeon. My daughter is now 28 years old and not evident in her functionality that she had no real hip joint when he started seeing her at 4 years old. My son is now 24 years old, played baseball year around through 5 years of ... read more
