Dr. Shank is definitely a skilled surgeon. He is thorough, caring and follows through on his work. A year after foot fusion surgery, I can once again resume an active lifestyle.

I broke my ankle hiking in three places, and I knew I needed a skilled surgeon. Fortunately, I found Dr. Shank, and I couldn't be more pleased. After five months, I am back doing what I love...exploring the mountains. Dr. Shank is experienced, friendly, and competent and takes the time to answer all questions even though he is extremely busy. I feel very fortunate to have such a great doctor.
Dr. Shank is very knowledgable regarding my injuries. He informed me what was going on with my injuries, why I was having the pain I was having and how he was going to fix them and releive my pain to the best of his ability. Now 4 months later pain is almost totally gone, it's truly amazing to me! I would highly recommend Dr. Shank. The staff is nice even when they are incredibly busy, the office area is clean and the wait time isn't bad either.
Dr. Shank has provided excellent services for me since my accident in September 2017. My ankle was a mess and he rebuilt it in order for me to get back on my feet. I would recommend him and his staff for any orthopedic surgery.
I looove Dr. Shank !! He is excellent at what he does. I had to have 14 screws put in my feet and I believe the work he did was awesome. I was able to walk again ! He has great bedside manner and tells you and shows you what he's going to do. He made what could have been a very unpleasant procedure, much easier. I would, and have already, refer Dr. Shank to any of my family or friends. He's the only Dr. I will let take care of my feet. I trust him. Jean Anne Williams
I do not hesitate to recommend Dr. Shank to anyone. I am one year post-total ankle replacement, and am extremely pleased with the outcome. I had outstanding range of motion and have no pain.
