Busted the snot out my ankle, and Dr. Shank and his team did a wonderful job putting me back together. Very fortunate to have gone here, as his reputation is outstanding. Thanks for everything!
Dr. Shank is an excellent surgeon, very straightforward and succinct. He diagnoses issues and explains them thoroughly, and follows through with appropriate treatment. Could not be happier with the results of my surgery.

Caring, professional and a master at his craft. His PA is also top notch and they go above and beyond, especially with unique/unusual co-morbid conditions that lead to complicated surgeries. If there is unusual wait time it typically is because they are taking in a time-sensitive emergency situation. They have some that for me and I have also been in the waiting end when my appointment is not dangerously urgent. My ankle replacement surgery isn't scheduled until September but my initial appointment was very positive. Dr. Shank thoroughly explained the arthritis damage in my ankle and gave his recommendation for the best way to treat it. I have full confidence in his skill and expertise going into my surgery.
Dr. Shank has been very helpful and had provided me with several options for my ankle issue. His staff has been awesome & supportive as well and all my questions regarding my upcoming ankle replacement surgery have been answered. I highly recommend Dr Shank and his office!
I have 'problem' feet and Dr. Shank has performed numerous surgeries on them for various problems. I totally trust Dr. Shank and his surgical skills. He is very easy to talk to and understand. In addition, I'm also comfortable when I see his PA Miyoko. They are a great team!
