Dr. Shank and his staff are wonderful! They know exactly what they are doing and are very supportive! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
Dr. Shank did surgery on both my feet over a one year period (one in Aug and second in Feb) to correct bunion deformity and fuse arthritic joints. His work was excellent. He was detailed in his explanations, answered all my questions, and I would highly recommend him. My feet have healed well and I’m back to hiking, cycling, and all my usual activities.
I had a severe ankle injury and Dr Shank rebuilt my ankle 12 years ago and has taken amazing care of me and is doing ankle replacement soon and wouldn’t want anyone else doing it
I am satisfied with the care I have received from Dr. Shank and his staff over the past 15 months. I suffered a very serious lower leg fracture and I believe my progress is as good as can be expected all things considered. Everyone at The Center is very helpful and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Shank to friends and family.
Prior to my visit with Dr. Shank 2 previous doctors told me fusion was my only option. At 87 yrs old I kept looking and found Dr. Shank. I had ankle replacement surgery and Dr Shank and his staff were amazing. Visits prior to surgery and after were excellent. My surgery went perfect. Throughout recovery I didn't need any pain meds. I healed up perfectly and I walk normal without pain. I highly recommend Dr Shank and his staff.
Very personable. Knows EXACTLY what he's doing. doesn't recommend surgery unless needed. He told me I didn't need it but would probably need it in the future. 18 mths later I needed it and he was the one that did it. I've never regretted having him be the surgeon
Life changing. Dr. Shank completely rebuilt my ankle and then replaced the ankle joint. He’s patient, he listens and he cares about your quality of life. You are treated special from the minute you walk through the door. I highly recommend him and his staff is great!!!
Due to Polio as a baby I have had many surgery's. The issues have gotten worse over the years. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Shank. I thank him everyday for allowing me to walk without pain. .
Dr. Shank did a detailed exam and took xrays. He listened to how I injured my foot without rushing me and recommended physical therapy with a follow up appointment to see how I was doing. He gave me a boot and a brace that I can use for hiking and outdoor activities. I was very pleased with the attention that I received.
