Dr Pilcher and the staff at Sage Bariatric have been amazing from day 1! On my first visit with Dr Pilcher, I was afraid of hearing any negative feedback due to failed weight loss attempts. Instead, he was very supportive and compassionate. He explained different options and answered all my questions. I decided on gastric bypass surgery. Dr. Pilcher is a truly amazing professional. Both my husband and I are medical professionals and were VERY impressed both by his knowledge and by his compassion. He is willing to look at the long term health benefits vs being bound by insurance guidelines of what your BMI has to be to get approved for surgery. He is on the forefront of Bariatric medicine. The staff and DR. Picher were very understanding about my concerns with weight loss surgery. The professionalism and direct one on one visits only proved to me I was not just another number for each visit. Follow up after surgery could not have been better. I WANT TO THANK THE OFFICE DR.. Pilcher , staff and hospital as well. A great experience that I would recommend DR. Pilcher to be your personal weight loss physician. Its hard to improve perfection that exist with everyone.

Dr Pilcher was amazing from day one! I like that he listens and addresses any concerns that you may have. I knew that I wanted to go with him as my surgeon before my initial visit because of the great care that a friend of mine received who also had surgery many years ago with him. my experience has been a plus all the way through my journey with no regrets.

My experience with Dr. John Pilcher has been very favorable and pleasing, not only is he a top surgeon in his field, he is also a gentleman who is caring and has one of the best bedside manners I have ever experienced. I would recommend him and the Sage Bariatric Group to anyone who is in need of this type of surgery. I have to drive about 2 hours to get to the clinic where Dr. Pilcher works and I get excited the whole way there, because I know my experience will be very pleasing. THANKS

I had my surgery with Dr. Pilcher and I felt that I've received world class care from him. He has great bedside manner and I did not have any issues with the surgery. I would most definitely recommend him to anyone considering surgery.

Dr. Pilcher performed my gastric sleeve procedure in August 2018. From the first consult to my recent 6 month post-op appointment, I have found Dr. Pilcher to be above and beyond in providing health care. Dr. Pilcher genuinely cares for my well-being and engages with me in a knowledgable, caring, and professional manner. My life is transformed and Dr. Pilcher has played a very large part of that!
