Dr. Pilcher is a truly amazing professional. Both my husband and I are medical professionals and were VERY impressed both by his knowledge and by his compassion. He is willing to look at the long term health benefits vs being bound by insurance guidelines of what your BMI has to be to get approved for surgery. He is on the forefront of Bariatric medicine. He takes his time to answer all your questions and you never feel rushed. He actually explains why he is asking you to do something vs just telling you to stop doing/eating something. The surgery itself was the easiest I’ve had in regards of recovery. I would recommend Dr. Pilcher to a family member.

The staff and DR. Picher were very understanding about my concerns with weight loss surgery. The professionalism and direct one on one visits only proved to me I was not just another number for each visit. Follow up after surgery could not have been better. I WANT TO THANK THE OFFICE DR.. Pilcher , staff and hospital as well. A great experience that I would recommend DR. Pilcher to be your personal weight loss physician. Its hard to improve perfection that exist with everyone.

Dr Pilcher was my Doctor of choice even before my consult because I already knew of him through a friend who had gastric bypass many years ago. His professionalism and caring attitude was top notch and I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking into any Bariatric procedure. I have lost 50 pounds since my surgery 6 months ago and I have no regrets!

Dr Pilcher was amazing from day one! I like that he listens and addresses any concerns that you may have. I knew that I wanted to go with him as my surgeon before my initial visit because of the great care that a friend of mine received who also had surgery many years ago with him. my experience has been a plus all the way through my journey with no regrets.

My experience with Dr. John Pilcher has been very favorable and pleasing, not only is he a top surgeon in his field, he is also a gentleman who is caring and has one of the best bedside manners I have ever experienced. I would recommend him and the Sage Bariatric Group to anyone who is in need of this type of surgery. I have to drive about 2 hours to get to the clinic where Dr. Pilcher works and I get excited the whole way there, because I know my experience will be very pleasing. THANKS
