Dr. Pilcher is extremely knowledgeable and good at what he does, but he is also genuine, caring and attentive. He quickly responds to emails both before and after surgery, never rushed appointments, and always has the answers to my questions. I had zero complications with surgery, have had great results, and had his full support as well as the staff’s before, during and after surgery. So glad I chose him as my surgeon!

Dr. Pilcher is fantastic. Not only did he do my gastric bypass, but I had a hernia I didn’t know about and a hiatal hernia he had to fix to support the surgery. I have had NO complications from any of them. His bedside manner and personality is so welcoming. I would give him 10 stars if I could. Best thing I can say is If I had to do it all over again I would ask him do it.

Dr Pilcher saved my life. I had the Gastric Sleeve procedure done. Dr. Pilcher had to reroute my stomach due to pseudo cysts from pancreatitis. I am 53 years old but feel like I’m 25. I have lost 90 lbs and many inches and sizes. I went from a 4X-3X to a size L. I went from a 46 waist to a 34 inch waist. I no longer need my diabetic medication. I no longer have high blood pressure. Having the gastric sleeve procedure is not a quick fix. It is a lifestyle change. Sage Bariatric has given me the tools to be successful at maintaining my weight loss and being healthier than ever. Dr. Pilcher I want to thank you from the bottom of my healthy heart. Throughout my entire weight loss surgery journey, Dr. Pilcher has been at my side as more than just a doctor and surgeon. He has recognized me as a person who can be frightened, sad, happy, or even angry and has done everything to meet every need, even when not required by his core role. Even when a complication with my surgery recently arose, he recognized my anxiety and was there to assure me that everything would be well, and sure enough everything did turn out well. Dr. Pilcher's professionalism, attitude, and demeanor are the best I have ever experienced in the medical arena, and I feel privileged to have him working with me. He recognizes that, especially during stressful times, his patients require more than just a person that will walk in, do their job, and walk out. Patients require a doctor that exhibits leadership, empathy, expertise, and support. Dr. Pilcher embodies all of these aspects, and I could not have wished for a better partner in my journey!
